Each dress is brought to life through a carefully structured couture process , one that ensures artistry, precision, and complete exclusivity from the very first exchange.
01 — Initial Inquiry
To begin, please send an email to katya@katyushaicewear.com with the following:
∙ Competition date
∙ Skater’s age and level
∙ Music selection
∙ Any inspiration, color references, or mood you wish to convey
Availability is limited each season. Production dates are confirmed individually based on competition timelines, and early inquiry is always recommended.
02 — Reservation & Deposit
Once availability is confirmed, your place in the production schedule is secured with a non-refundable deposit of €100. I accept a deliberately limited number of commissions each season to ensure that every dress receives the full depth of attention it deserves.
03 — Design Development & Approval
You will receive a personalised design concept developed around your music, your skater’s artistic identity, and her technical requirements on the ice. Together we refine every detail — silhouette, neckline, sleeve, crystal placement, back design, and overall mood — until the design is precisely right. Production begins only once the final design has been approved.
This stage includes up to two rounds of design refinements. Additional changes beyond those rounds may carry a small supplementary fee.
04 — Atelier Production
A detailed measurement guide is provided to ensure a flawless, performance-ready fit. Accurate measurements are the client’s responsibility and essential to the result.
Once measurements are confirmed, your dress enters the atelier phase:
∙ Pattern drafting and tailoring
∙ Fabric selection and cutting
∙ Hand painting or airbrushing (where applicable)
∙ Crystal layout and hand embellishment
∙ Final assembly and quality inspection
Every piece is constructed using professional-grade stretch fabrics engineered for the demands of high-level competitive figure skating.
05 — Final Reveal, Payment & Worldwide Delivery
When your dress is complete, you will receive picture or video confirmation before shipment — a private first look at the finished work. The remaining balance is due prior to dispatch.
Your dress is then shipped worldwide via DHL Express, with full tracking provided. Delivery within Europe typically takes 3–5 business days from the date of dispatch.
Each KATYUSHA ICEWEAR dress is conceived as a wearable work of art — designed exclusively for one skater, for one moment, on the ice.
∙ Each dress is individually designed and custom-made to the client’s specifications.
∙ Every piece is one-of-a-kind and created exclusively for the skater.
∙ Due to the personalized nature of my work, all sales are final. Returns or exchanges are not accepted.
Design Approval & Modifications
∙ Once the design sketch has been approved, any requested modifications will incur an additional fee of €70, plus the cost of any additional materials required.
∙ Design changes may also affect the delivery timeline.
AI-Generated Images & Design References
∙ I welcome mood boards, inspiration images, and visual references of any kind, including AI-generated images, as a way of communicating a feeling, a color direction, or an overall mood.
∙ However, I do not replicate AI-generated designs. Each dress I create is an original work of art, designed by hand and conceived entirely from the creative brief we build together.
∙ What I capture is the spirit of your vision, not a reproduction of it.
Deposits & Payments
∙ A non-refundable deposit is required to secure your place in my production schedule.
∙ The remaining balance is due prior to shipment.
∙ Production begins only after the deposit is received.
Production & Timeline
∙ Delivery dates are confirmed in advance and respected within the agreed production window.
∙ Delays in providing measurements, music details, or approvals may affect the timeline.
Shipping & International Orders
∙ Clients are responsible for shipping costs, customs duties, taxes, and any import fees required by their country.
∙ Once the package has been shipped and tracking information provided, KATYUSHA ICEWEAR is not responsible for courier delays or customs processing times.
Fit & Measurements
∙ Accurate measurements are the responsibility of the client.
∙ A detailed measurement guide is provided to ensure precision.
∙ Minor comfort preferences (such as desired tightness) should be clearly communicated in advance.
Quality & Concerns
∙ Each dress undergoes careful inspection prior to shipment.
∙ In the unlikely event of a manufacturing defect or malfunction attributable to my workmanship, it will be repaired at no additional cost.
∙ Any concerns must be reported in writing within 7 days of receiving the dress, including clear photographs and a detailed description of the issue.
∙ Issues reported after this 7-day period cannot be guaranteed coverage.
By placing an order with KATYUSHA ICEWEAR, you acknowledge and accept these policies as part of the bespoke couture process.

There are dresses.
And then there are compositions.
At KATYUSHA ICEWEAR, I don't make skating costumes. I create singular works of wearable art — each one born from a skater's music, her emotion, her identity. Painted by hand. Embellished crystal by crystal. Imagined for her alone, and never repeated.
Behind every creation is Katya Robles — Mexican artist, painter, designer. Formed in the ateliers of Italy and France. Educated in the jewellery tradition of Van Cleef & Arpels at L'École in Paris. Guided by the standards of the world's great luxury houses.
And driven, above all else, by the conviction that art has no deadline, passion has no age, and beauty — real beauty — can only be made by human hands that mean every single thing they touch.
One skater. One story. One creation. Never repeated.

Art over everything.
WEARABLE ART
These are not costumes. They are not dresses. They are compositions — conceived with the rigour of a painter, the precision of a jeweller, and the soul of someone who understands what it means to perform. When she steps onto the ice, she is not wearing something. She is saying something.
UNIQUENESS
Each dress is designed once, for one skater, and never repeated. Not a variation. Not an adaptation. One piece. One person. One moment in time.
A STORY IN EVERY DRESS
The music, the programme, the skater's artistic identity, these are not references. They are the raw material. Every dress begins as a story and is finished as one. The audience may not know the details, but they will feel them.
EXCEPTIONAL DESIGN & FINE CRAFTSMANSHIP
Every line is considered. Every decision is intentional. The work is done entirely by hand — from the first sketch to the final crystal — with the discipline of an artist who has spent decades learning that beauty is never accidental.
THE FINEST MATERIALS
Only the highest quality fabrics and crystals are selected for each commission — chosen not only for their beauty, but for their integrity under pressure. A dress must endure the demands of elite competition while remaining breathtaking under the light. Durability and beauty are not opposites. Here, they are the same standard.
EXCLUSIVITY
A limited number of commissions are accepted each season. This is a commitment — to the work, and to every client who entrusts this atelier with something that matters.
PERSONALIZATION & IDENTITY
KATYUSHA ICEWEAR does not have one aesthetic. It has many — because every skater is different, and a dress should be unmistakably hers. This atelier listens before it creates, and adapts before it speaks.
CLOSE ATTENTION TO DETAIL
What cannot be seen from the stands is still done with complete care. Every seam. Every crystal placement. Every painted line. Because the person wearing it will know — and that is enough.
CREATIVITY & BEAUTY
Beauty is not decoration. It is intention made visible. Every dress is an exercise in creativity that begins with a feeling and ends with something that has never existed before.
PASSION & LOVE
This is not a production line. It is a practice — built on genuine love for the craft, for figure skating, and for the skaters who carry these dresses onto the world's most demanding stages. That love is not a sentiment. It is present in every stitch.
AUTHENTICITY & MEANING
Nothing here is replicated. Nothing is produced. Every dress is an original work — authentic because it was made entirely for one person, meaningful because it could not have been made for anyone else.
---
Hands that mean it.
Conceived for one skater, one story, one moment in time.
Never repeated. Never ordinary.

Katya Robles is an artist.
Not a dressmaker. Not a costume designer. An artist — one who happens to have found in figure skating the most perfect stage imaginable for her work: moving, living, breathing art, performed under lights, before an audience, at the most charged moment of a skater's season.
Born in Mexico, shaped by Italy and France, and educated in the jewellery tradition of L'École Van Cleef & Arpels in Paris, Katya brings to every creation the full weight of an artist's formation and a collector's eye for detail. She completed the prestigious INSIDE LVMH Certificate — immersing herself in the standards of the world's most revered luxury houses — not because she wanted to make expensive things, but because she refuses to make anything less than extraordinary ones.
Her Mexican roots are inseparable from her work. The warmth, the color, the playful audacity that defines Mexican artistic culture runs through every hand-painted gradient, every crystal composition, every choice of silhouette. It is a warmth that her clients — from Paris to Berlin, from Australia to Chicago — feel immediately, even before they can name it.
KATYUSHA ICEWEAR began the way the most authentic things always begin: not as a business plan, but as a mother making something beautiful for her daughters. It grew, quietly and organically, into an international atelier serving elite competitive skaters across America, Europe and beyond — one commission at a time, each piece created personally by Katya from first sketch to final crystal.
"My hands let me express things I cannot say in any other way."
Katya is exactly where an artist is supposed to be: in full possession of her craft, her vision, and her voice. She is as fluent in the language of the new generation as she is in the traditions of the great European ateliers. She loves luxury not as status, but as a standard — a commitment to the finest materials, the most considered process, the most human touch.
When you commission a KATYUSHA ICEWEAR creation, you are not placing an order.
You are beginning a conversation with an artist.
One that ends with something the world has never seen before — and will never see again.
Every piece of music carries an emotion.
Every emotion has a color.
Every color has crystals that speak its language.
This is the first and most essential decision in creating a figure skating dress that is truly unforgettable on the ice.
Find Your Color gives you the exact color and crystal method used at KATYUSHA ICEWEAR — so your dress doesn’t just look beautiful.
It tells your story from the very first glance.
